CDE identified in London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Europe’ report.
CDE has been identified as one of the London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Europe. The report is a celebration of high-growth and includes the most dynamic small and medium-sized businesses across Europe. CDE is one of only five organisations from Northern Ireland to have made the list, while the UK is represented by 160 organsations in total.
To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their country peers. More detail on the methodology can be found in the report online at www.1000companies.com.
This announcement is further recognition of the great strides being made at CDE, with the company already celebrating several key milestones in 2018 including 10 years as a Deloitte Best Managed Company (the only Northern Ireland company to do so), Manufacturer of the Year (£25m+) at the Made in Northern Ireland Awards and being listed as one of 3 Northern Ireland companies on the 2018 Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 list.
Along with these awards, 2018 has also seen CDE increase its operations with the purchase of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Monkstown, Northern Ireland and the opening of a new North American Headquarters in Cleburne, Texas.
Commenting on CDE’s extraordinary growth, Marc Jennings, CEO, said: “Our recent performance is a testimony to the strength, determination, culture, and resilience of our team, who has skilfully navigated a path through the recession since 2008.
“A commitment to our strategic goals underpinned by a strong focus on Innovation has delivered value to our customers across five industry sectors on a global basis and we are delighted that the outlook remains positive as we concentrate our collective efforts towards the delivery of our 2020 Vision.”
Nikhil Rathi, CEO, London Stock Exchange Plc added, “The economic potential of Europe’s fastest growing companies is clear in ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Europe’. The report shows high-growth SMEs are the innovators, job creators, and drivers of economic growth. They have the potential to transform the European economy and give the next generation of young people the future they deserve.
“So, it is vital that we give these companies, and companies like them, access to suitable growth finance. London Stock Exchange Group is committed to supporting the job creators of tomorrow, increasing their access to long-term patient capital to fund their continued success.”
