CEMEX open new washing plant at Datchet Quarry

CEMEX have announced the opening of a new CDE washing plant at the Datchet Riding Court Farm Quarry in Berkshire.

CDE supplied a turnkey sand and gravel processing plant producing 210 tonnes per hour, which equates to 400,000 tonnes of aggregates per year at the 101 acre site.

Within the UK CEMEX is a market leader in readymixed concrete, crushed rock, sand and gravel, and have been active in the UK construction industry for over 80 years. The company’s extensive portfolio includes 230 concrete mixing plants and 63 quarries serving the UK market. The new CDE sand and gravel wash plant comprises of a M2500 E4X 3D mobile washing plant with an integrated feed conveyor, feed boot, Infinity screen, EvoWash and conveyors.
